Young Adult Ministers
Hello and welcome to the Young Adults Group Ministry!
We are a community of young adults who have answered God's call to live Godly and pure lives. We are Tyrone and Swantia Porter and we are the leaders of the young adults ministries with the Coat of Many Colors. Typically, young adults (20-30 years of age) are trying to figure out many things, such who they are, what kind of career they should have, etc. Essentially, they are trying to build their lives up, but as we know, a building cannot be built without a strong foundation. This is what we teach. We show our young adults how to make Jesus their firm foundation in their lives because He can guide them into who they are meant to be.
We also show our young adults that they do not need to do worldly things to have fun, but can have fun together amongst brothers and sisters in Christ. What are you waiting for?! Come hang out with us!
In a world that often promotes impurity and ungodliness, we seek to be a beacon of light and hope. Our purpose is to encourage and support one another as we navigate the unique challenges and experiences that come with this stage of life.
Through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer, we strive to deepen our understanding of God's word and apply it to our daily lives. We believe that living a Godly and pure life involves not only abstaining from immoral behaviors, but also cultivating positive habits and attitudes that reflect Christ's love.
We understand that the journey towards true godliness and purity can be difficult, especially in a society that often undermines these values. That's why we are committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where young adults can share their struggles, seek guidance, and find accountability.
We also recognize that living a Godly and pure life is not only about personal holiness, but also about engaging with the world around us. As a ministry, we actively seek opportunities to serve our communities, share the gospel, and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
